Sisal or Jute carpets

Does anyone have them?
I love the look of them but any carpet shop seems to discourage me from buying them. They say they don't last long and aren't a good buy.
I'd like them in the bedrooms upstairs.

A friend had them and they were harder/more uncomfortable to sit on. I'd prefer a plusher carpet.

I'm allergic to dust so has to be laminate or sisal/jute even if not "plush"

Very uncomfortable underfoot and a nightmare if you are allergic to dust as they are dust traps. They also look frayed and scruffy after a while. Laminate is a better option.

I thought they were a good option for people with allergies. Must rethink then
