Has anyone had any dealings with the MOD and the LSAP loan that military can apply for to get on property ladder?
We were all ready to exchange, contracts are all signed and move last week but our purchasers are military and are waiting for their LSAP which is paying towards their deposit. The MOD still need to send a form for the solicitor to sign and when chased last week they told our solicitor, they are working on it. When pushed to see if it would be another week or month etc they just said "we're working on it". So unhelpful! We're all packed and we knew nothing about this LSAP until last week. I've dared to google and it isn't great, everyone saying how slow it is. Months!!
Any experience of turnaround times?
