Restoring an enamel bath

My tenant ruined an enamel bath. We thought it was scrated but now realise it is wax stain. How would fix this?

If its wax then it will melt with heat - so if possible make sure there's no water there whatsoever - then plug a hair dryer and put kitchen roll over the wax and slowly heat it with the hair dryer - but like I said before MAKE SURE THERE'S NO WATER AT ALL IN THE BATH AT THE TIME !!! Water and electrics are deadly - please please please be careful !!!!
