Lost my buyer

After 3 months on the market with one offer from an unproceedable buyer, I finally got another offer last week. Accepted. Formal letter yesterday. Today the buyer withdrew the offer for a reason completely inconsistent with what she'd told me about her reasons for buying.

Should I email her and ask why she withdrew, or just accept that whatever her reason, she doesn't want to buy it so no point bothering?

You could but it won't make any difference. It's so hard, but you have to detach yourself as much as you can from the emotional side of it otherwise you'll be a complete nervous wreck, as opposed to just a nervous wreck. You can't make her buy it/change her mind and I wouldn't waste your energy.

Sorry to hear it's not going well though, fingers crossed that things change soon.
