Where to buy good packing boxes?

Am moving soon and doing some of the packing myself. Am told by removals firm to get good quality double wall boxes. Can anyone recommend a website which sells good quality ones?

We just got second hand boxes off Ebay, would defintely recommend, lots of places sell them, buy from a seller with good ratings and you'll be fine.

I bought mine via the internet from mad boxes (not sure if it's ok to put a website address here but google "mad boxes"). They were delivered the next day.

I bought single wall boxes. They were fine, no problem at all, and the removers didn't say anything. They take up a lot less room when flat than double wall. which is particularly useful for me as I am keeping them for my next move (renting) and have to store them in the house.

I also bought archive boxes with lids from a local stationer's which I used for heavy books. They're also useful as storage if you want to keep stuff in boxes longterm.

try freecycle and GRAB whatever comes up. The boxes will cost a fortune. You also need packing tissue and shock absorbing material - finely shredded paper is great for this, know anyone who has a shredder?

look online for packing hints. Boxes must be full, but not so large that they are too heavy.

Thanks, have bought 50 double wall boxes of different sizes from UK Packaging website. £90. Less than half the price of those my removals co. wanted to charge.

Now just have to pack. Urgh.
