Do you live close to a high school?

Hi, I've seen a house directly opposite a high school that looks perfect, but I'm wondering if there are any pitfalls to living so close to a school. If you do, what are your experiences, good and bad?

I do - its fine, they crowd on the pavements a bit at chucking-out time, and we avoid the corner shop between 8.30-8.45, the traffic gets a bit heavy, but soon disperses as the spoilt little darlings are dropped off outside school.
Is the house in West Yorkshire ? ( the house 2 doors away is up for sale and its gorgeous !)

No, it's in Lancashire . It's quite a nice high school... a lot of children from the primary I work at go on to there. I'm going to view it right now!
