Removal men coming tomorrow and DS has chicken pox!

Yes really! First day of chicken pox today!
Has anyone got any wise advice - or just kind words - on how to deal with a spotty grumpy toddler and a massive house move?

Well, firstly warn the removal company.

Do you have somewhere to farm your DS out to? Friends with chicken pox or who have had it? Family?

(and in this heat too! Not sure who I feel sorriest for - your toddler or you having to deal with him or you for having to move house!)

Call in whatever family backup you can!! this doesn't fall into the category of asking for a favour because you want to go shopping or out for the night.
I would definitely send him to stay with grandparents if that is even a possible option ....at least for the day, if not overnight.

If this really isn't an option, then get whatever male friends you could rustle up to assist with the move, and concentrate on keeping the toddler cool and calm.
