Warm neutral for 16yo DS's bedroom

Can anyone recommend a warm neutral Dulux colour for a north facing bedroom? DS, has has no strong views on but has mentioned he likes grey and green. The carpet will be a dark cream. Thanks.

My DD's room is north facing and we painted it Dulux Just Walnut. It is a really nice grey/beigey colour. We liked it so much we just painted our kitchen-diner in it too!

Everyone comments on it being such a lovely colour and it is very easy to live with.

Thanks. I'll get a tester.

Egyptian cotton... Fantastic

we have used gentle fawn (think thats the name and I think it is dulux) in our kitchen which is a nice colour, a sort of beigey colour, very warm, quite masculine I think.

I was actually going to suggest Egyptian cotton too...we have it in a south facing room. It is really lovely, but I discovered just walnut after Egyptian cotton and prefer just walnut. I think Egyptian cotton might have a bit more depth to it, if you find just walnut too pale.

Incidentally, we used Egyptian cotton after my sister did her whole house in it. She now keeps saying she wishes she had used just walnut after seeing it in ours!

We have Egyptian Cotton in our bathroom. I do like it, but I'd like something a bit warmer for DS's room. Thanks for the replies. More testers!

went for Just Walnut in the end. It's a beautiful colour. Thanks to SunnyupNorth for the recommendation.

Oh fabulous! Glad you like it....I am just wondering whether I would be really boring if I use it for my bedroom next!! It would only be the 4th room we would have done in it!

Enjoy your lovely room.

Or rather, I hope your DS enjoys it. You might have to so your room in it too now!

I really want to use it in our hall too, so I can look at it every day without having to go into my son's room!
