Chelmsford

I am thinking of relocating to Chelmsford in Essex and am looking for some advice on the best parts of Chelmsford to live in and catchment areas for good primary (and secondary) schools.

Any views would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know Chelmsford too well (live around 10 miles away), but there are two top grammar schools there (selective). Hope someone else will be along soon!

Oh and mainline station to Liverpool Street, London (40 mins ish). Mix of traditional older houses and a few new estates. Plus New Hall School (private) catering from kindergarten to 18 I think.
