Cleaning painted floors

Hi all, looking for some advice. We ripped up carpets last week and fixed the really old floor boards and painted a sort of grey colour (farrow and ball) so it looks good but how do I look after it now? I read somewhere the oil should go over the top? And wash with baby wipes not to get floor very wet?
Anybody any advice for me?

Well I wipe down our white painted floors, sometimes with baby wipes, sometimes with a jay cloth and spray cleaner depending on what is to hand. Paint is wearing through a bit in places, but I don't think that's the cleaning. I'm afraid I don't clean our grey floors, other than to Hoover or wipe up spills. The dirt does not show and life is too damn short.

Ok thanks mummy mog . So would you use a mop and bucket? Or would you prefer baby wipes?
