Not sure what is best out the two? Anyone have a new model that works well?

I'd go with a Bosch always!

In the long run, I would pay that extra for Bosch because it's German engineering so it will last. Or you could stretch to Siemens?

theWookiesWife · 27/07/2013 10:56

Pay the extra and get a Miele !!

Bosch

I generally say Bosch (or Miele if you can afford it). You will find some old ladies on here who will tell you they have been using their Bosch since they were young girls.

there are some new LG which take big loads and are said to be good, though one with a very big door (moon door?) has a poor reputation for reliability.

I've never had an LG my bosch one is three months old it is brilliant. Even to the extent that clothes of the Dcs with old stains on them have come out clean.

Chubfuddler · 27/07/2013 16:06

Sorry I've got an exxcel 8

Floralnomad · 27/07/2013 16:07

trixymalixy · 27/07/2013 16:08

Bosch. I have an LG that takes an 11kg load and it's shit.

Jaynebxl · 27/07/2013 16:23

We asked the same question and ended up getting a lovely Samsung that talks to our phones and playa a tune. It evens washes our clothes!

iseenodust · 27/07/2013 16:26

I have an 11 yr old LG that takes 7kg - it has been brilliant & is still going strong.

GibberTheMonkey · 27/07/2013 16:34

Lg for me. Always found their appliances to be brilliant. My last washing machine from them lasted years even though it took a real hammering
