Build a bedroom over the garage on an estate house or move to forever home that needs work

We live in a newish build and need more room. I have found a bargain house in the next village but it needs work and I would extend it to make a big open plan dining kitchen space. On the other hand my house is lovely , neighbours are lovely but we need more room. I have 2 buyers who want to buy mine but I'm not sure what to do. Ours is 3 bed and £360k . Other house is £380 but would offer £350 and 4 bed. It's non estate and has a bigger garden . Any ideas ?

We wondered whether to extend current house or move to larger house and garden needing work, but in a nicer area, non estate and lots of potential. Just as we decided to take the current house off the market, a buyer came along, and we moved three months ago. There is lots to do here but I don't regret it at all and I don't miss the old house one bit.

Can't help you make your mind up unfortunately, but looking at your post, I know I would choose to move rather than extend over the garage.

Thank you for your perspective . I would link but I don't want to give away my ideas for the older house in case it gets nabbed .
