Can anyone recommend a removal firm in the Sth Manchester area?

Getting close to exchanging contracts and need to to be looking for removal companies. Has anyone had any experience good or bad?
Is it worth the extra for them to carry out the packing?

I have used Star removals in North Manchester several times and can highly recommend them for both skill and cost. Unfortunately they don't do packing which would be my dream. The upside of packing yourself as you can declutter as you go along.

We used Movers a few years ago and they were excellent, will be using them again soon. Am also wondering about the cost of a packing service!

Many thanks for all the replies will be following them up.
Caroline I've had a quote from one removal firm who said packing was £25 per hour and should cost around £125 extra for our house (large 3 bed semi)
