Celebrity property porn. A certain Ulrikakkakaka is selling her house and it is soooo beautiful. if I had a spare 3 million quid, I'd snap it up! Grin

Wow, I wouldn't say no if I had the money!

WeAreEternal · 05/07/2013 21:43

I was told a while ago by a very reliable source in the business that most celebs move out of their homes before the list them for sale, the agents then get stylists in who refurnish the whole house with 'stock' furniture.
They even do it in a way to make it look as if it could be the celebs furniture, so if they have a DS and two DDs they will furnish the bedrooms for a boy and two girls.
That's why if you ever do see a celebs house for sale there are never any pictures or family portraits anywhere or personal looking items of any kind, it's all just nice and tasteful. And big bowls of tomatoes.

Justfornowitwilldo · 05/07/2013 21:45

It's the flue for a wood burner.

Erlack · 05/07/2013 21:48

I like tomatoes...I guess a lot of it is just my taste. Then again I have just bought a totally impractical house with tons of stairs next to a river when I have two small children, one toddler aged.

Wonder how much she's spent doing it up. The asking price is a LOT more than she paid.

Xmasbaby11 · 05/07/2013 21:51

It's beautiful! But I don't like the fireplaces and it'd be a bugger to heat.

bico · 05/07/2013 21:52

£500,000 Knowing the area I think she is optimistic if she thinks she'll get the asking price.

mydoorisalwaysopen · 05/07/2013 22:04

We've got the car rug the children's room - again, end of similarity. Who's SO'C?

kitsmummy · 05/07/2013 22:45

Oh god, I pretty much need that house, nicest i've seen in a long time

NewLifeDownSouth · 06/07/2013 07:09

Love that corner fireplace

purplewithred · 06/07/2013 07:25

Gorgeous, I'll put in an offer tonight after I've won the lottery.

marleebrodie · 06/07/2013 08:58

I think it is all her own furniture.
She did a Come Dine with me on Tv years ago in her previous house and I recognise some of the pieces.
Her previous house was prettier .

PerilsAsinger · 06/07/2013 12:16

The only thing I don't like about it is the shower room. There's no curtain/glass. What's that all about? Splashes all over the floor and I get cold as soon as I turn off the hot water.

Flossiechops · 06/07/2013 12:41

Stunning - absolutely love it!

valiumredhead · 06/07/2013 12:47

God no! I could spend 3 mil much better. For every one thing I like there were 5 things I dislikedGrin

valiumredhead · 06/07/2013 12:50

I do like a big drive thoughGrin

RCheshire · 06/07/2013 12:50

Agree with valium. Nice if you are looking for an upmarket version of Ikea (& I do think very nicely done if that Scandinavian style is what you're looking for) but does very little for me.

I'd prefer this at one third of the price. Granted wouldn't be that price in Henley!

PerilsAsinger · 06/07/2013 13:27

RCheshire - I think you've gone a bit off topic there. We're talking about a house in a particular area. Why link to a house in a different area for a different price - I don't get it.

RCheshire · 06/07/2013 13:38

When people say they don't like a style of house (as a few have) I like to see what they do like.

valiumredhead · 06/07/2013 14:16

So do I!

PerilsAsinger · 06/07/2013 14:41

Valiumhead - what things do you dislike about this house then?

PerilsAsinger · 06/07/2013 14:41

sorry, valiumredhead

valiumredhead · 06/07/2013 15:00

Thought you'd never ask Grin

It's not my type of house at all,I want to grow clematis up the outside to soften the edges which defeats the point of the house completely!

The kitchen , nice work space but too bleak and stark.

The chimney flue thing in the bedroom, odd.

Odd en suite with not shower screen, not keen on wet room type bath rooms.

The fireplace in the family room-so small for such big wall, looks out of proportion.

The TV room looks like a warehouse and I loathe halogen lights in ceilings.

I'm sure Ulrika feels the same and that's why she's movingWink Grin

I can't view the other link so can't comment on it unless
Someone can make it clickable for me as I'm on my phone and I could rip that to shreds tooGrin

valiumredhead · 06/07/2013 15:02

Odd there's not more pics of the bedrooms, only 2 and it's a 6 bed house.

PerilsAsinger · 06/07/2013 15:04

Valiumredhead - minor things that you dislike then. I think we all feel like that when we buy a second hand house.
