First time landlord here, just wondering that from those of you that rent how do you go about getting your tenancy agreements. Do you use a solicitor / estate agents or use an online template? If online is it still a legal document? If via a 3 rd party what costs have you incurred? Thanks

join the National Landlords Association about £100pa - you cant afford to be making any mistakes and they have all the necessary forms free, a free advice helpine and recommended suppliers.

you also need some specialist insurances, including the legal and malicious damage ones, and to protect the deposit.
