We're considering waterfall worktops for the island in our new kitchen (ie the worktops continue over the edge down the two short sides of the island to the floor), a bit like this
The kitchen will be a look-alike Harvey Jones Linear kitchen in white like this
And we're going (I think) for an oyster (mid grey, looks a bit like concrete) 1cm worktop on the island.
Looking for advice on whether the waterfall worktops in this style will be a good look. Slightly worried that it will just all look like too much shiny grey work top, but DH is convinced it will look smart and modern.
I'm still hankering after chunky concrete as an alternative island worktop, although I know the casarstone will be so much more practical...
