This is a plea on behalf of me and my 7mth old DS to anybody in the Milton Keynes/Northampton area. I have recently (2 weeks ago) left my XP and our private rented flat due to DV. I have had my name taken off of the tenancy at this flat and am staying with my parents temporarily.
I have spoken to the council and although I would be a priority for housing I am still looking at a 9 month wait and my parents cannot put me up much longer. My best bet seems to be renting privately using HB to pay my rent (got made redundant so no income) as I have a cash deposit but I am having no luck finding anywhere at all that will accept HB.
So, if anybody knows of a landlord who will accept HB in the Milton Keynes/Northampton area or has any other ideas I would be eternally grateful!
Sorry this is long and a bit of a desperate plea, but I am running out of ideas
