Conservatory cracks

Does anyone know how to find out if conservatory cracks are a structual problem?

There are cracks in the plaster which may just be from the plaster drying, but there is also a crack/gap externally of a couple of millimetres where the conservatory wall meets the house (this is a wall that is nearly full height). And there is a crack internally in the plaster at the same point. The conservatory is 2 years old and I have been ignoring this for some time! I don't think the cracks have got any wider, most appeared very soon after it was finished. I have been keeping an eye on the external gap in particular.

What is the best way of dealing with this? If we go back to the builder who built it I wouldn't necessarily trust his opinion. There is a 10 year guarantee (from a scheme not from the builder, I have it somewhere but my quick search just now didn't find it) so do I go through that scheme, or just get a surveyor to come and look? If a surveyor how do I find one?

Thanks!

It's a shame as otherwise it has been very good. Thinking of moving, hence the need to take my head out of the sand.
