Am in middle of doing this - just got ready to mark out the actual runner and realised I don't know where to measure from!
Do I centre the runner between the inside of the banisters and the wall;
or between the very outside edge of the tread and the wall;
or each edge of the risers?
Hope this makes sense - I know ot needs to look centred but I can't work out which way is going to look "right"
Pls help! poised with measuring tape and masking tape!
