How much would ou expect to pay to have a gas hob disconnected

It depends how difficult it is to get to the pipe. If it's straightforward, a basic call-out charge. If it means pulling units out etc, then more time, more money.

The pipes in a cupboard, it's easily accessible. You can see the workings of it easily.

I just don't like gas hobs.

We had this done in our old house, and I remember it being fairly inexpensive.

It might depend on where you live. I had a gas cooker disconnected last year and it just involved pulling out a plug and the cost was around £70, basically a call out fee.
