Kitchen appliances: does anybody knows of an online provider who also install the appliance on delivery?

That's it really. I am replacing an integrated oven and hob and I'm finding it difficult to get an electrician to pull the appliances out, unplug, plug the new ones in and push back into their position. (Wiring is already in place)

I have been quoted anything from 250 to 450 pounds for this job, while Currys only charges about 120. Problem is, I can't find the appliances I want in Currys!

Could any if you suggest an internet appliance shop who also carries electrical installations? Most will connect a washer but I have only find one to do electric hobs

TIA

John Lewis appear to do installation. Haven't clicked on it to see if its only certain postcodes though.

Can't guarantee it is still an option, but John Lewis also used to take away the old appliance (in my case, fridge), and dispose of it - for an added fee.

Have you got a local Facebook page? You might get a local recommendation there?

Thank you all.

I'll have a look at Boots and John Lewis.

In the mean time I'm happy to confirm that I have got the details of decent electrician who will charge £50 for doing the job, at the end of the day the installation is already done, it is just pulling the old appliances out and putting the other ones back in. If I was a bit stronger I could do it myself.
