What things need doing in your (finished) home?

Are we normal in that there is nearly always something we haven't sorted?

At the moment we need one new windowsill (rotten) and one new pane (broken)

Also garden wall looks terrible as part fallen down. I asked a man next to it who had cement mending the neighbours if he'd have time for an extra job and he said no!

I'd also like to swap rooms with our DC but the idea of dismantling a bunk bed again and our double too makes me feel weak.

Wondering whether I should have higher standards and just sort things as they come up? But then saving them up sometimes cheaper as we get more jobs done in one go!

Our home is finished in the sense that it's decorated, tidy and clean. But there are big jobs that need doing, but we had to make do as we ran out of money!

We need:
A few new windows
Decorate bathroom
Spare room needs re-plastering
We could do with sanding and re-varnishing the lovely wood floor that was already here when we bought the house
Oh and DH wants to put in a log burner!

I call our house a work in progress, I don't think we'll ever be finished!
