Wimborne Minster - what's it like?

We are possibly moving to Wimborne Minster later on this year but have no idea what its like and how much is going on for young children. Any help would be brilliant!

I'm not from there but we drove through and stopped off once. It has a Minster as you might imagine with pretty cafes around Minster square. All the shops like bakers etc are there. There was a Fatface and a Prezzo. Pretty river and cafes and craft shops and a Thomas the tank world.
