Old fashioned radiators

Has anyone replaced the radiators in their period property with period style radiators?

If so where did you get them from please and what kind of money would I be looking at?

Thanks

We used radiators from www.paladinradiators.com

Very happy with the end result, they look lovely rather than just functional, (although we stuck with contemporary towel rails in the bathroom/shower room).

Thanks whoknowsyou, some of those look good! Yes, I know what you mean, bog standard rads can look a bit ugly.

B&Q do them. And every few weeks/months they have a 15% discount on them. I've never found them cheaper elsewhere. Look for Acova column radiators

I have used the B&Q ones which are pretty good.
This place sells them a bit cheaper though.

Sometimes Homebase is cheaper, but it is a bit random.

blimeyohriley · 17/06/2013 18:42

Thanks, I'll check Homebase out too

The old-fashioned ones - think church and school ones are much more efficient that modern slim-line ones that came out in the 70s.
