Work top cock up

Have bought the wrong bloody one from wickes. Can return it but where to get the right one???

I need slate effect laminate with a gloss finish. 38mm. The one from wickes is textured. Which is not bloody clear on the website. Grrrrrr

Gloss laminates are a bit few and far between - if you have your heart set on slate you might have to do some hunting. A supplier won't automatically have the same designs in gloss or matt.

It might be better to search online for "gloss laminate worktop" and then order a design you like in a dark grey slate/marble/granite type of design.

I need gloss as I'm replacing one work top, but not the other. No need for a perfect match as they are opposite sides of the room. At wickes they had no samples, and wouldn't let me open the packaging to check .

Anyway, they're taking it back, and B&Q had the right stuff.
