recommend a grey paint for a front door

My belief in own colour-choosing has been shaken as I picked dark blue (I thought) for the front door, and it ended up being more like Lego blue...

I am going to repaint - and before i head to Homebase to get sample pots, wondered if anyone had any recommendations?

Thanks...

Light grey or dark grey?

I'm looking at F & B Down Pipe (or the cheapest equivalent! Grin)

Pavilion Grey is very pale, I made the mistake of thinking it was a true grey.

I've got Farrow and Ball downpipe. The house is a very imposing Edwardian semi and it really suits the house. I also painted the gate at the side of the house in it too as this is visible from the front, again looks lovely.
