Flippin' hell buying houses isn't cheap. Ballpark cost of replastering a 2 bed terrace in London?

So we've just bought a house, which is incredibly exciting, and are on day 1 of the rewire, however our electrician's told us the plaster's not in good nick at all and could do with being removed and redone.

Not really part of our budget, and we're due to move in properly Friday, have removal van booked and have given notice where we are. We could hold off unpacking when we get in, but would love to know how much pain we're in for, in terms of money!

We paid a lovely polish guy around £100 per room but that was 5 years ago..

I couldn't say but I know my sister made a saving on having her house repainted by paying for a painter decorator to come from Northamptonshire to North London! It's worth scouting around!

Oh I wish I knew some nice Polish / Northamptonshire trades people... Part of me thinks how important is plaster in the grand scheme of things Smile
