DS says no but there is space for the shower just not loads of space round it. What do you think?

It'd make for a damp room don't you think?

TheRedRabbit · 07/06/2013 20:52

Bad idea. Looks terrible. Put us off buying a house when we saw a bedroom with a sink/shower in.

BimbaBirba · 07/06/2013 20:55

Agree. Looks awful.

LindaMcCartneySausage · 07/06/2013 20:55

God no. Condensation will make everything damp. It would put me off buying a house if I ever saw that.

CreatureRetorts · 07/06/2013 20:56

Can you put a wet room in?

BackforGood · 07/06/2013 21:01

Well, you are not allowed electric in bathrooms, and surely you will have sockets in your bedroom ?
Then, it will make your room all damp or soggy, depending on how much you splash about / drip dry
Then, when you do come to seel, people will think 'how odd' and be put right off.

idiuntno57 · 07/06/2013 21:37

no space for wet room. just existing plumbing available for shower. Guess DP is right

We didn't even want to rent a house with a bathroom set-up in the master bedroom.

SwedishEdith · 08/06/2013 13:44

Why would you want to? Confused. Never understand the appeal of baths in bedrooms either. All that steam.

pinkdelight · 08/06/2013 15:58

I rented a flat with a shower in the bedroom. Never again. Damp really built up over time, made us ill. Don't do it!

dopeysheep · 08/06/2013 16:00

I used to have a shower in my bedroom it was amazing!
Not damp at all just had to air the room out properly. But I guess damp could be an isdue - can you put in an extractor?
