Which costs do the tenants incur when renting? Heating, water, lights, poll tax, anything else?

Electricity, gas, water, council tax, household contents insurance, also probably TV licence, maybe broadband, maybe phone.

tenants pay everything except for fixes and the house insurance.

Rent for bedsits sometimes includes some bills e.g. council tax.

We had to pay to change aerial to digital or it wouldn't have worked! Ridiculous. Landlord has gained when we leave!
