Monthly costs when renting?

Hi again,

Which costs do the tenants incur when renting? Heating, water, lights, poll tax, anything else?

Electricity, gas, water, council tax, household contents insurance, also probably TV licence, maybe broadband, maybe phone.

tenants pay everything except for fixes and the house insurance.

water
council tax
broadband/phone
food
travel
clothes
furniture

...oops. And their own insurance, which won't be very much but is important.

We rent and we pay:

Rent
Council tax
Water
Electricity
Gas
Household insurance

Oh and broadband
Phone

And all other luxuries

Rent for bedsits sometimes includes some bills e.g. council tax.

We had to pay to change aerial to digital or it wouldn't have worked! Ridiculous. Landlord has gained when we leave!
