I'm after a bit of advice, we are currently renting with a 2 month notice period and have just had an offer accepted to buy somewhere.
The vendors want to complete by end of July which suits us fine, but we are not sure when to give notice on our rental. It's early days and we've had a house purchase collapse before, so we don't want to give notice and then potentially be homeless if it doesn't work out.
I think the landlady wants to sell when we move out so I don't think she will offer to get in other tenants early. We don't want to end up paying an additional 2 months rent on top of the mortgage either. Arrrgghhhh! Any advice gratefully received!
