We have just moved into a new house and the water pressure in the shower is very weak.we were spoilt in our old house as we had power shower.we will eventually upgrade the bathroom but if anyone has any ideas we could try in the meantime, they would be gratefully received.

If you have more than one bathroom you might want to consider having a Megaflow tank installed. It means you have a tank of mains pressure hot water available which means that more than one water supply can be used whilst maintaining water pressure for them all. Suggest you speak to a plumber for further advice on it. We've got one and it's fab Smile

I did not know this until last week (doing up a house so found out by accident) that some showers are not designed for use with low pressure water systems.

Read this simple and informative guide to work out whether you have a low or high pressure water system.

The previous owner may have installed the wrong type of shower for your system and/or you may need to upgrade your system as Pesto suggests.
