Support thread for FTBs

I've been lurking in the support thread for house sellers, but I'm a FTB so I'm only buying. Is anyone else doing this at the moment?

We've just exchanged contracts, and have a date pencilled in for completion .

Me! We have been in rented for 8yrs, have completion date of 7th June, hoping to move in the weekend 14/15/16 June :)

It's exciting, isn't it pretty? I can't wait to be able to 'do things' to our house (although I won't have much £ left to do anything for a while!).

We are the same! Save for ages to get a deposit then you're wiped out again! I can't wait :)

I think we'll move in the week after you pretty, we're having a bit of an overlap between renting and buying. I can't wait!
