Anybody done it? Is it possible to sell/buy and complete both on the same day? Do you need two solicitors?

From where to where exactly, can I ask.

Shameless bump

yes you can. you need 2 solicitors who talk to each other and keep each other up to date. it has to be done by tt eather than the usual scottish cheque way.

we have just done an english sale with a scottish purchase.

Thanks very much, both. I guess it is more likely to work out if we go for an English property that isn't in a chain though (going by what I've read on here)? Assuming we can sell of course....

Another question if anyone can help-if we were to move in the summer holidays does that mean we couldn't apply for a new school until the new term had already started (as we wouldn't be able to prove address until then)??
