Showers!

We're about to redo our tiny bathroom. At the moment we have electric shower over the bath which we would like to replace with a mixer (combi boiler). The water supply for the electric shower is exposed, I was expecting to recess the supply for the new shower, however the wall is brick and the length of the room is only just over 1.7metres so can't fit in a fake wall.

Is there anything we can do or will we need exposed pipes? If so, can this look stylish?

My hub is a plumber, you can get stainless steel pipes that look good, he not at home at the moment, (out on call) so not sure what else to suggest.
