We have 3 bikes which need specialist bike insurance.

Online insurance searches are bringing up nothing cheaper than £50 per month

How can I approach this to bring down the price?

I paid about 10 pounds a month for one bike worth about 800. See if they will add it to home insurance?

Most specialist bike insurance isn't as good as having your bike on your house insurance. They insist on absurd levels of security where house insurance generally just insists on sensible security measures. It's also normally cheaper to add them to your house cover and most decent insurance companies will now cover bikes to a high value.

Cycles? My bf's are on our house insurance (co-op), anything upto £1k is unspecified under our "personal posessions", his bike over that was specified and from memory it cost less for a year (under £50) than my old pashley worth less than a third of the price did with an Evans policy..
