If its white, with no red jacket, is it insulated on the inside?

You need PigletJohn to come and answer properly, but we have something like this It IS insulated, but the builder also put on a red jacket.

Where is the tank? If it's in an airing cupboard, and it gets really warm in there, you need some more insulation ;)

You can't have too much insulation can you? They all seem to be like this.

I wouldn't have thought so, and have never heard about over insulating anything, but I wouldn't take my word for that!

mine is white metal on the outside. because the insulation is integral.
even when the water inside hits 70 degrees c it is only warm on the outside. modern tanks do not have visible lagging.
