Our front door is set lower than the pavement. We currently have 3 stone paving slabs which provide the steps down, between a steep bit of moss and dandelions lawn and a flatter flower bed.
It turns out the slabs have basically been concreted on top of soil, and one has cracked through. All are getting wobbly, and I'm worried that if one of us doesn't fall down them the postman will.
Roughly how much should it cost to get a set of three proper steps put in?
I don't want to waste time getting quotes if it's going to be thousands, I'd rather remove that access so people have to use the path from the end of the drive.
