how do you find a builder?

we are moving to the area so don't know anyone to ask. I've tried rated people and am waiting to hear, where else should I go?

We found ours on the federation of master builders. You can put in details about the job and builders who are interested will get in touch. They got in touch with us. We went with our gut instinct that they were the one to use!

I was going to say the FMB too . No one contacted me though (I think I was vague about what I wanted). TBH, I'd have preferred a list of local builders who I could then contact myself.
