Larmes pendant light

I am looking for a simple modern light for above the peninsula in my new kitchen. I love the ET2 Larmes light, see it here www.et2online.com/proddetail.aspx?ItemID=E23115-18#
It is only available in the US for their low voltage. Help? Have you seen anything similar which can be installed over here?

Could it be fitted here using a transformer (which would be hidden in the ceiling)? Have you checked with an electrician? Lots of ceiling halogens are low voltage but run off our 240v system using a transformer.
