Our thermostatic mixer shower has been in place for less than a year and we've had temperature problems on and off - and now it seems to be starting up again. Before I go through the trauma of hassling the manufacturers again and trying to find a plumber, I figured I might just try and solve it myself...
Any advice? The problem is currently the water come out boiling hot. I'm pregnant, and also as the weather is warming up, so I can't bear the shower being this hot. Nothing changes the temperature except turning the hot sink tap on which then makes the water too cold (but not freezing).
I have a thermostatic cartridge which I might attempt to change myself if anyone can confirm it sounds like that's the problem...
