Grey colour scheme with wooden furniture?

Would dark-ish grey stone tiles look okay with oak furniture? I'm thinking about doing this in my kitchen diner, as I don't like brown / cream colour schemes.

I'd go for a wooden floor otherwise, but I also don't like wooden furniture on a wooden floor (I know that lots of people do though!).

It will look amazing. I have oiled oak floors (and solid oak dining table). My kitchen units are painted f&b Charleston Grey. And walls are Fired Earths Basswood (more towards cafe au lait than grey). Worktops are bianco carrara marble. I have grey concrete foscarini pendants over my island and Tom Dixon Beat Stout pendants over dining table in black and reclaimed cast iron radiators in anthracite.

I guess mine is more of an oak grey, griege and brown sort of thing but its still amazing.

So yes go for it!
