does anyone else like compact living spaces?

i do. i love looking at photos of spaces where everything is all in one room. i saw a great space in a magazine yesterday and it has me all jealous. i want a tiny space. if it wasn't for those pesky dcs needing bedrooms!

does anyone live in a small space? how do you find it? do you have dcs?

wrt toys. my dcs are 7 and 3 and i have been able to whittle away their toy collection really easily because there are only a few that they play with. the only bulky toy they have is a push along building block trolley taht i got when ds2 was a baby. i keep it because he actually still plays with it every day building towers and houses and going 'shopping' with hsi trolley. there are still more toys i could get rid of that tehy wouldn't notice. i dont feel guilty at all about not getting them masses of toys as i know for a fact they dont play with them.
