How long from survey (fine) to completion? Sorry I know it's been asked before

We are selling our house and the survey was fine except that it was valued under the agreed price. We are willing to accept this price though and will confirm later today with the estate agents. No one is in a chain.

How long did it take your house sale to go through from this point, approximately?

We're in the process of buying a house. The survey came back fine in September and we're due to complete this month. That's seven loooong months.

I suspect we might be an exception rather than the rule though...

Whaaaaat. Good grief, I hope we don't have to wait that long.

I'm buying and my survey was completed about 3 weeks ago and we are exchanging/completing in 10 days time so about 5 weeks or so?
