Decorating

Hoping to leave HA property and need to have it in good decorative order - so how long would it realistically take to magnolia all the walls in an average sized semi upstairs downstairs 2 bed house (lv rm, kitchen, hallway, bathroom, wc, 2 bdrms)?

And any tips for decorating would be handy :D

If there are two of you and you go all day, you could do two rooms (well) a weekend. Bearing mind that you'll have to "cut in" round the edges, mask or cover up skirting boards etc. rolling paint is quickest, but is splatters.

Oh, and that is how quick me and DH could do it, but we don't had DCs to worry about.

I would be inclined to ring the HA - what is so bad that you think it need doing ? Bearing in mind that the new tenants will probably re-decorate it whatever colour/style you do it in.

we havent decorated all of the rms so the hallway and lv rm are not in what i would call good decorative order just through general day to day life
