Hi, can anyone recommend one of these, and tell me where I can buy them? Also, roughly how much should I expect to pay? Thanks.

They sell them in B and Q and they range in price. They are more expensive than smoke alarms but very worth it IMO.

We got this one. I think I just searched for it on amazon. Excellent price, and you can pick,it up and take it with you when you go camping.

Remember to read the package as to where to place it. They don't typically go on ceilings where smoke detectors go.
