Removal companies- who and how?

Please can someone help with advice about removal companies? Is it best to get a few companies round to quote and what do they usually expect you to pack yourself? Any hints or tips would be great thanks

Look in your local yellow pages, get 3 or 4 round for a quote. Ask friends if they can recommend a company.
You can get quotes for moving, plus packing, plus unpacking. It all depends on your budget.

If you move quite far/abroad, it makes sense to get quotes from both ends.
