HAs mumsnet ever tried to get check a trade to comment on this negative thread? If not, why not? I assume that all those who have had bad experiences have communicated their dissatisaction with checkatrade as well as the supplier? I wanted to look for a plumber and came across the mumsnet bad reports by chance and put me right off looking. Having said that I have used check a trade to source tradesmen and so far I haven't had any bad experiences. I think check a trade should have their say too. Before you ask, I don't work for check a trade. I just think sitting on a fence may be a good stance to take until you've heard both sides of an argument. I still need a good plumber though!
