Solid Wall insulation. What insulator do you use?

No cavity in the wall so need something like spaceboard or foam type i think? Do you recommend anything?

My well-informed DH says thermal-check plaster board which is a 50mm styrene on 12.5mm plasterboard. It comes in 8x4ft sheets. Or a 75mm quinntherm PR insulation board.
