Fitted wardrobes in loft conversion?

We recently completed a loft conversion, 2 bedrooms have natural alcoves that would be ideal for wardrobes. Do I need a local joiner to make doors and fit them or buy them from a DIY store and get them fitted? The shapes are irregular so it would not be easy to buy them off the rack I think. Alternatively what about these Mirror Door type companies, are they £££?

Hi Wildthong we are having work done and the joiner is going to put mirrored wardrobe doors to fit the space (in the eaves) which he is going to order online they will cost around £200 for 2 doors. I had a look at some of the mirror door companies for ideas of internal shelving and I was not impressed by the quality for the £££ to be honest Screwfix and ikea do inserts for wardrobes and if you are a competant DIYer I think you should have a go yourself or get a joiner to do it for you!!
