Property porn.

Chubfuddler · 23/03/2013 13:33

That's gorgeous.

ImTooHecsyForYourParty · 23/03/2013 13:35

It could be lovely.

I'd have to buy the house next to it as well and knock it down though!

CalamityJones · 23/03/2013 13:36

God that's cheap!

GrendelsMum · 23/03/2013 13:57

Flipping heck. That's quite amazing.

There are some amazing 'ordinary' houses in the UK, aren't there?

RandallPinkFloyd · 23/03/2013 14:14

Wow, the kitchen is bizarre but the rest of it is fabulous! The attic room is gorgeous, and the fireplace in the living room is perfect.

Movingtimes · 23/03/2013 14:18

Stunning. Where's Colne? I'm moving there now.

StrawberrytallCAKE · 23/03/2013 14:22

I love the windows and the huuuge bedrooms, can't believe how cheap it is!! The kitchen looks like a play kitchen though and could be beautiful.

HarderToKidnap · 23/03/2013 14:25

My aunt lives in this www.rightmove.co.uk/commercial-property-for-sale/property-39753473.html and always descrbes it as a three bed semi!

EMUZ · 23/03/2013 14:29

Colne is Lancashire Smile more the east side of lancs

Lizzylou · 23/03/2013 14:30

Colne is in east lancashire. Some not v nice bits but some amazing houses in the outskirts. That house is fab, op.

RandallPinkFloyd · 23/03/2013 14:31

Yowzers, now that's a kitchen!

HazeltheMcWitch · 23/03/2013 14:33

Did you read (on the 1st house), that the utility room was originally the egg room.
I need an egg room. Ok, I don't, but I want one now.

friendlymum67 · 23/03/2013 14:45

Harder - Your aunt's house is gorgeous!!!

whosiwhatsit · 23/03/2013 17:23

Wow that first house is commutable to my work if I'm willing to drive a little over an hour each way. Plus almost within our budget. Tempting.....

Ponders · 23/03/2013 18:47

your aunt's "semi" is beautiful, harder!

\link{http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-33574120.html\this Victorian house} is on the same road as the first one & is the same price, near enough.

I suspect the prices might be lower than otherwise because they're close to some commercial premises - no idea about eg noise though. & Boundary Mill car park & \link{http://www.boundarymill.co.uk/bou_catering2.html\Banny's chippy} are a couple of fields away too. You'd definitely have to view during working hours to see there's any impact.

But they're really handy for the motorway, without being on top of it, & Colne is one of the nicer towns in the area (compared with eg Nelson & Burnley). If I had that much to spend on a house I would definitely consider them Smile

First house is blummin' lovely but...what is that thing in the window on picture 18?

NotGoodNotBad · 23/03/2013 20:24

what is that thing in the window on picture 18?

Ooh, well spotted, it comes with its very own ghost!

Guadalupe · 23/03/2013 20:28

Probably the back of a dressing table, Allbelly, but it could pass for Robert Cromwell in a little arch of light. Grin

It is a lovely house. Odd kitchen though.

AllBellyandBoobs · 23/03/2013 21:11

Possibly Guadalupe, possibly. Zoom into the window on picture 11, what's that? Grin

golemmings · 23/03/2013 21:17

I used to work for a council that had a beautiful gr2 listed council house. Unfortunately it was at the wrong end of a bad estate and the cereal neighbours kept trying to trash it. When I saw it, it was tinned up and unlettable. [Sad]

GrendelsMum · 24/03/2013 14:14

I reckon you have to pay extra for a ghost of Robert Cromwell. Not first rank of historical ghosts, obviously, but pretty good second rank.

He'll be worth at least £10k.
